KnitMesh Technologies’ PyroCore® Pyrotechnic Actuator Mesh is a high-performance knitted wire mesh designed for gas-flow control, filtration, and heat management in pyrotechnic and safety-critical systems. When the system actuates, the knitted wire mesh regulates the shock wave, reduces temperature peaks, and captures solid particles to protect surrounding components.The strong, heat-resistant structure withstands shock and vibration and can be manufactured from multiple grades of stainless steel for corrosion resistance and recyclability. Other high-temperature materials are available on request.

PyroCore® knitted wire mesh can be produced in a wide range of mesh densities to control flow regulation and filtration efficiency.
