Titanium mesh suppliers
Description
Typically wires used are titanium and nickel or alloys such as Fecralloy® (ferritic stainless steel with aluminium), Hastelloy®, Incoloy® and Inconel®, all of which deliver specific customer requirements for their specialist applications.
Properties
These wires exhibit numerous key characteristics such as mechanical strength, good surface stability and resistance to thermal creep, high temperatures, and corrosion or oxidation.
Applications
Pure titanium or pure nickel is used in chemical or electrochemical applications eg nickel as a zero-gap membrane separator in chlor-alkali production. Fecralloy® can be used up to 14000C eg in electrical heating elements.
