KnitMesh Technologies is excited to introduce Dipti Kapadia, our Regional Representative for India. With a background in computer science, a passion for sustainability, and extensive experience in software development, Dipti brings a unique perspective to her role as a sales representative. In a recent interview, she shared insights into her background, her motivations, and her approach to building relationships with customers.
A Diverse Background
Dipti’s educational journey began with an undergraduate degree in Computer Science from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. She then pursued her passion for technology by studying a master’s degree in Embedded Systems at Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. Upon returning to India, Dipti was introduced to the world of renewables, specifically solar rooftops and electric vehicles (EVs).
Driven by her passion for sustainability, Dipti developed a hydroponic and organic farm in Maharashtra, a relatively dry state in India. The farm aims to provide locally grown, pesticide-free greens to the market while employing sustainable practices such as rainwater harvesting, drip irrigation, and solar power.
A Valuable Addition to KnitMesh Technologies
Dipti has been working with KnitMesh Technologies for the past eight months as their Regional Representative for India. Her primary focus is targeting the hydrogen production industry, specifically customers working with alkaline electrolysers. In collaboration with key players in the industry, she aims to integrate KnitMesh Technologies’ knitted mesh into their operations to enhance their electrolyser performance.
The most rewarding aspect of her role as a Regional Representative at KnitMesh Technologies, according to Dipti, is the opportunity to work closely with major players in the energy industry. By being involved in the research and development of the most efficient electrolysers for renewable energy, she feels exhilarated. Dipti is motivated by the chance to contribute to a cleaner future, a cause she deeply cares about.
While Dipti began her career in software development, she transitioned naturally into sales and business development. This transition allowed her to leverage her understanding of technology and innovation while building relationships with customers. Dipti believes in maintaining open and transparent communication, simplicity, and a focus on ethical behaviour to establish trust with her customers.

Beyond Work
Outside of her professional life, Dipti enjoys a variety of interests and hobbies. She is passionate about traveling and exploring new places, as well as expressing her creativity through painting and other forms of art.
